Career Summary

Mr. Hoberg has worked with Northwest Management, Inc. since 2006. His primary responsibilities include forest and natural resource management planning, forest inventory and appraisal, design and implementation of wildfire hazard reduction projects, reforestation, forest health assessment, forest insect and disease management, and development of silvicultural prescriptions. Duties performed in association timber sales include; sale preparation and layout, contract development and administration, logging planning, road layout and construction, BMP implementation, quality control, and implementation of protection measures for populations of sensitive, threatened and endangered plant and animal species in timber harvest areas.   Mr. Hoberg has extensive familiarity regarding implementation of Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Forest Management Standards and Practices and all facets of Forestry Best Management Practices. Eric has extensive experience with slash hazard reduction measures including prescribed fire and smoke management. These duties include the operation of trucks, pumps, igniting broadcast fires and piles.

Eric is a member of the Society of American Foresters.
